Does Shoeboxed scan and process receipts in other currencies?

The short answer is "yes!"

Shoeboxed currently supports the following currencies: USD $, AUD $, CAD $, NZD $, MXN $, EUR €, JPY ¥ and GBP £, DKK kr, PLN zł, SEK kr, CHF ₣, HKD $ and SGD $.

Account Currency

You can change the default currency for your account so that tables and reports in your account will display your receipts in your preferred currency. 

Here's how:

  1. Log into your account, click on your name at the top of the screen and select Account settings.
  2. Select International.
  3. Use the Account currency drop-down menu to change your preference.

Currency Conversion

Shoeboxed also offers currency conversion. When you send in receipts that aren’t in your default currency, Shoeboxed will capture the international currency amount and convert it to your default currency for you. We use historic conversion rates from the European Central Bank to convert your receipts and bills to your default currency. 

Here's how:

  1. Log into your account, click on the user icon in the top right and select Account settings.
  2. Select International.
  3. Select the box next to Collect the original currency from my receipts.
